Allocated to assessments

Where this document's content was filed at triage — 4 sections. A section can be allocated to more than one assessment. Change it with Triage and allocate, in the actions at the top of this page.

Outbound message raising and originator data population

11.3 Raise the outbound message in Garnet at the point of initiation, in the format the selected scheme requires: SEPA credit transfer, SEPA instant credit transfer, or cross-border payment via the correspondent network.

11.4 Populate the originator name, address and account fields from the customer account record in Garnet. Do not key them by hand.

EU 2023/1113 — Mittenda Limited

Mittenda Limited's Payments Operations function performs this procedure step: it raises the outbound transfer message and populates the originator information in Garnet. Mittenda Limited, as PSP, owns the activity.

Sanctions screening of the assembled outbound message

11.5 Screen the assembled message against the applicable sanctions lists before release. Where a potential match is raised, hold the message; the screening analyst handles the match under the Sanctions Screening Standard §5.

EU 2023/1113 — Mittenda Limited

Mittenda Limited operates this pre-release screening control on its outbound payment messages. The firm owns and performs the control, so the assessment of Mittenda Limited is its home.

Originator population for accounts with more than one holder

11.6 Where an account has more than one holder, populate the message with the primary account holder by default.

EU 2023/1113 — Mittenda Limited

Mittenda Limited's Payments Operations function decides which originator data goes into the outbound message for joint accounts. The firm owns this procedure step as PSP.

Repairs of messages failing schema validation and four-eyes release

11.7 Route messages failing scheme schema validation to the repairs queue under §9. A payments repairs analyst corrects and resubmits them; resubmitted messages re-enter validation and screening before release. Roll items repaired after the scheme cut-off to the next settlement window.

11.8 Release manually repaired messages under four-eyes control: the analyst who repaired the message does not release it, and release falls to a second payments officer.

EU 2023/1113 — Mittenda Limited

Mittenda Limited's payments repairs analysts and payments officers perform the repair, re-validation, re-screening and four-eyes release steps. The firm owns these controls on its outbound messages.
